Founder/Main Tour Guide Colin Levin
Brooklyn Nosh was founded in 2016 by Colin Levin. He is a self-proclaimed obsessed food geek, who for many years has found himself eating his way through his home borough of Brooklyn, in constant search of the best tacos, pizza, cookies, sandwiches with non-normative fillings, coffee, vegetarian/vegan treats, and hole-in-the-wall establishments. After compiling endless food lists and giving many food + historical tours for friends and family, friend Asha Carroll, founder of Bushwick-based "Cake in a Crate," convinced him to share his knowledge with the greater public. Hence, Brooklyn Nosh walking food tours was established. It is currently doing four main food tour locations, in addition to the DUMBO family food tour, and will be expanding to many other neighborhoods throughout the fall. When Colin is not eating or giving food tours, he can be found researching music history, teaching voice in NYC during the year and Tanglewood during the summers, singing on opera stages, and staring at the many pugs of New York City.
